Protection Defense Modifiers

Protection defense modifiers increase resistance to a particular type of damage. All damage sources should fit into one of the five main types, and types can be freely mixed on armor and shields for passive protection.

Protection can be augmented using the Protection Ability, but each armor piece is limited to a single level. To maximize protection against all damage, you can simply use a balance of the 5 main types, which will easily let you exceed the puny enchanting table on plate armor.

Blast Protection

Creeper, Aw man.

Effects:

• Reduces explosive damage and knockback

• Multiple levels, each level further increases resistance

• Requires 1 defense slot per level
